Amanda Athon

FACULTY PROFILE Dr. Athon's research focuses on best practices for the teaching and assessment of writing. Dr. Athon teaches undergraduate courses in first-year writing, advanced composition, grammar, rhetorical theory, and gender and sexuality studies; graduate course offerings include seminars in rhetorical and critical theory. Her most recent research project involves studying how faculty can make digital course content accessible for all students.
