Biography
FACULTY PROFILE Gretchen Jankowski was born in Fort Wayne Indiana, but was raised in Oak Park, IL. She currently makes her home and studio in Forest Park Illinois. Influenced by contemporary approaches to materials and combined media, Gretchen’s work is centered on large scale 2D mixed media pieces, soft sculptures, as well as relief printmaking. Gretchen has her BFA from Columbia College Chicago in Studio Arts; and her MFA in Printmaking from California State University, Long Beach, with an emphasis in Printmaking.
