B.A., History, University of Mumbai BIOGRAPHY Dr. Uday Shinde is a Full Professor of Management at Governors State University, where he teaches courses in Business Ethics, Organizational Behavior, and Entrepreneurship. Guided by the goal of developing "practical idealists," his teaching philosophy focuses on providing students with a holistic business perspective. He integrates cutting-edge research to prepare them for the global job market and empower them as agents of positive change. Dr. Shinde holds a PhD in Business Administration from Southern Illinois University and an MS in Sociology from Indiana State University. An active and dedicated researcher, Dr. Shinde explores diverse topics such as workplace spirituality, mindfulness, and social responsibility. His recent research on resilience and spirituality during a crisis has been published in peer-reviewed journals such as the Journal of Behavioral Studies in Business (2022), the Journal of International Business and Cultural Studies (2022), and Accounting Education (2021). He has also presented at academic conferences and served as a Track Chair for the Division of Social Responsibility and Ethics at the Southwest Academy of Management.
